  Apparently for this office, rigidity is more important than helping a sick pet. I'd drive to Eugene before patronizing this office. I was visiting from out of town with my ferret, who developed diarrhea while here and wasn't eating her dry food. I know she likes A/D and, on Saturday morning this office is the only local one open. When I called they insisted I have a Rx because its "prescription" diet, so I called my vet at home and they called back to tell them it was ok, but they couldnt fax a presctiption because they aren't valid state to state. In other words, AMC was asking for an illegal document! They still refused to sell me the can, so I asked for an appointment. "We don't see ferrets." Let me get this straight - I have a pet in danger of dehydration, you're the only game in town, you refuse to see her AND you won't sell me one frickin' can of cat food, that my vet sells me by the case? Unbelievable.
